Bounty Cup Series: $2.5M GTD in PKO Knockouts, Live Through July 5

JackPoker Bounty Cup Series $2.5M GTD PKO June 8 to July 5

Il Bounty Cup Series is JackPoker's headline summer event — $2,500,000 in combined guarantees spread across four weeks of Progressive Knockout (PKO) tournaments. The series opened on June 8 and runs through July 5, 2026. Every event in the schedule carries bounties on the heads of marked players, with single knockouts paying up to $4,000 straight to your balance. The format puts a real-money number on every elimination — cover or hunt, you choose.

The Bounty Cup uses two mechanics together: PKO Bounty, where every player at the table carries a head-price, and Re-Entry, which lets you return to the field after elimination as long as late registration is open. Special-status knockouts feed the series prize pool throughout the four-week run, which is how the $2.5M number compounds across the schedule.

How PKO Bounties Actually Pay

In a Progressive Knockout tournament, half of every buy-in goes into the regular prize pool and the other half becomes a bounty on your head. When you knock a player out, you collect half of their bounty immediately as cash to your balance, and the remaining half is added to your own head price. As the field thins, the players who have already racked up eliminations carry larger bounties — which is why late-stage hunting on a stacked-up player is the highest-equity move in any PKO.

The Bounty Cup adds one extra layer: Special Bounty marked players. These players carry a flagged head-price that can reach up to $4,000 on a single knockout, on top of the normal PKO bounty maths. The marked-player list rotates throughout the series, and you find out who is carrying the special bounty when you sit down at the table.

Series Structure — What You Are Signing Up For

  • Date: June 8 through July 5, 2026 — 28 days of daily PKO events.
  • Combined Guarantee: $2,500,000 across the full schedule, with weekly Sunday Majors carrying the biggest single-event guarantees.
  • Single Bounty Cap: Special-status knockouts pay up to $4,000 per elimination, credited as Real Money with no wagering requirements.
  • Re-Entry: Enabled across the schedule. Most events allow up to two re-entries during late registration, giving you a second and third bullet on the higher-GTD nights.
  • Buy-in Range: Daily events span from low-stakes feeders up to high-roller PKOs, with satellite paths into the Sunday Majors running from $5.

PKO Strategy — How to Actually Win Money

PKO maths is not the same as regular tournament maths. Two adjustments matter most:

  • Bounty equity widens covering shoves. If you have a player covered at risk of elimination, the cash bounty you collect on a knockout is added to your call equity. A hand you would fold in a non-bounty event — A♠9♠ against a tight 12-big-blind shover, say — becomes a profitable call once their head-price is factored in. Run the maths once or twice in a solver and the threshold becomes intuitive.
  • Stack your bounty on the marked-player list. Marked players are typically the lower-buy-in winners of the previous day's satellites, which means they sit down short and are reshove-prone. If you have position and chips, three-betting all-in over a marked-player open is the highest-equity move in the format, because the bounty you collect more than compensates for the times you flip and lose.
  • Don't pay big to chase a small bounty. The mistake new PKO players make is calling a 30-big-blind shove with K♠Q♠ for a $4 bounty when their tournament life is worth more than the head-price. Bounty hunting is a tilt-amplifier — only chase eliminations when the bounty plus chip equity exceeds the cost of your own tournament life.

Re-Entry — Plan Your Bullets in Advance

Re-entry is enabled in most Bounty Cup events, but firing a second bullet is rarely correct from any seat smaller than 25 big blinds late in registration. A short re-entry is dead money — you will be reshove-stack from the moment you sit down, and your own head-price is small enough that nobody is incentivised to fold to you. The mathematically correct approach is to fire your second bullet at the start of late reg, not at the end.

Budget two bullets per Sunday Major, three on the headline Sunday of the series (June 28 sits in the middle of the run and is shaping up as the largest single guarantee). Avoid firing into the final two levels of late reg in any PKO — the implied value of a 15-big-blind starting stack against a stacked-up opening field is negative even with bounties on heads.

Where the Bounty Cup Sits in the June Calendar

The Bounty Cup runs in parallel with the SPINERO Spins Bounty promotion (June 1 to 21), which puts marked-opponent bonuses on the regular 3-handed Spin tournaments — up to 10,000% of buy-in on a single knockout. The two events stack: a SPINERO ticket can be the cheapest way to fund Bounty Cup bullets through the first three weeks of June.

For players new to bounty formats generally, Sherlock's Mystery Bounties is a useful primer on how marked-player mechanics interact with regular MTT play. The PKO mechanics in the Bounty Cup are stricter (every player carries a head-price, not just marked ones) but the strategic instincts — cover the short stacks, hunt the marked players, conserve your own tournament life — carry across.

Your Tactics for the Remaining Four Weeks

  • Pick a buy-in tier and grind volume. The series guarantees compound on volume — one PKO win is variance; fifty PKO entries at the same buy-in is a sample where skill edges show up. Aim for 50–100 entries across the 28 days.
  • Always check the marked-player list before sitting down. If your table has a Special Bounty in seat three with a 15-big-blind stack, your seat selection just paid for the buy-in three times over.
  • Use satellites to feed the Sunday Majors. $5 and $11 PKO satellites run daily into the headline Sunday events. A successful satellite path puts you in a $100,000-class field for the cost of a coffee.
  • Cash bounties have zero wagering. Every dollar of bounty money lands as Real Money on your balance. You can withdraw it the moment it hits, or use it to fund the next bullet — either is correct, depending on your bankroll plan.

Codice promo WELCOME remains available for new players throughout the series — a 300% deposit match up to $2,000 plus a free $10 Spin & Win ticket on a $50 deposit gives you the bankroll to register multiple Bounty Cup events across the four-week run.
